We are committed to the advancement of the Kingdom of God through the written word.

We recognize God as the source of inspiration, the Giver and Developer of talents and the Provider of suitable and satisfying writing opportunities.

We are committed to write that which is consistent with God's character and His Holy Word.

We are committed to use our varied talents to facilitate communication, bonding and encouragement within the Church, the community, and the world.

WHAT?

The Christian WAR forum is the coming together of Christians in the writing ministry to share God’s love.

It is a meeting of people who see writing as an avenue for serving our God and spreading His Word all over the world.

It is a fellowship of Christian Writers, Editors, Readers, Publishers, Booksellers, Librarians and other interested individuals, from all parts of Nigeria, different church denominations and cultural backgrounds, united in their common passion to positively influence people all over the world through life-changing words that bring God's message of hope.

The forum encourages the exploration of God-given gifts and talents; provide opportunities for people to work together; and foster excellence in the art, craft, practice and ministry of writing, editing, and reading.

WHY?

To give Christian Writers a place to fellowship, opportunities to learn the skills and business of writing, and a venue for getting work critiqued for publication.

WHO?

Those with a love for writing and a commitment to be a writer; whether you want to write fiction or nonfiction, magazine/newspaper articles, plays, poetry, screen writing, devotionals, songs, children's books, and Bible School curricula etc., you’ll find someone whose passion for the written word matches your own.

Membership includes writers and aspiring writers of all ages and levels of experience - beginners, professionals, published and unpublished.

BEGINNER

If you are a new writer:

You will benefit from the expertise and advice of professional and experienced writers who started out just like you. They will be there to offer instruction, encouragement and support.

They will make input to your novel, poetry, articles, personal essays, or whatever you’ve chosen to write.

They will also offer effective critique to help you improve their work

PROFESSIONAL

If you are a published and experienced writer:

You will find others who have been published and will enjoy networking with fellow Christian writers.

You will have opportunity to improve as a writer and get information on what’s new in the writing world.  

You will also have the opportunity to mentor beginners and share your expertise and experience.
